In SharePoint, documents are typically stored in what's called Document Libraries.  Document libraries are basically a group of documents.  You can do much more with document libraries, but in this topic just know that it is a place to store a group of documents.

I'm sure everyone has heard of SharePoint sometime or other.  More and more people are talking about it, but no one really knows what it is.  It is easy it get confused about SharePoint because it is such a powerful tool that can be molded into nearly anything for your business.
