Microsoft® Lync™ connects users in new ways with the ever changing workplace. It is a rich client application that provides presence, IM, voice, and ad-hoc collaboration and online meeting capabilities through a single interface.

Patch Tuesday is a Microsoft monthly event that systematically aim at addressing security issues for both Businesses and Personal Customers. Total Microsoft Patches for this year so far are 35, compared to the 36 issued by May of last year.

The application will allow users to access information about the company and engage with customer support.

In November 2011, the FBI arrested the developers of DNS Changer, where they seized the DNS servers the infected computers were being redirected to. They then put up surrogate servers up in the place of the malware servers, but only temporarily. They are planning on shutting down these servers on July 9th, 2012, thus preventing the infected users being housed on the servers access to the internet.

Microsoft is starting to phase out their older Windows versions, which would be a great time for businesses to start converting to Windows 8.
